After moving to Oregon in 2000, Ashley assisted her family in planting a vineyard in Eagle Point. After this, she knew she wanted to obtain the skills, qualifications and experience of the wine and tourism industry to bring back to Southern Oregon, specifically to the Rogue Valley.
In 2010, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in sociology from University of Oregon and then traveled to the Hunter Wine Valley in Australia where she immersed herself in the wine and tourism region.
In 2012, Ashley studied the culture and industry in the Ribera del Duero Region of Spain, gathering knowledge and experience about traditional wine making, as well as diverse terroir and viticulture comprehension. Following, Ashley and her husband were hired by Constellation to work as cellar hands for Kim Crawford and Drylands Winery in Marlborough, New Zealand.
In 2013, Ashley returned to the Rogue Valley where she is most passionate and has been embedded herself in marketing the tourism industry for the last six years. Through this, Ashley has gained invaluable relationships within our community.
